What’s the session’s main focus?

Supporting Aussies living rough on the street and experiencing homelessness.

How is it delivered?

• Either in-person over 3 hours – at your office, or any venue of your choosing, such as a conference venue or hotel.
• Or online over 2 hours – whether people are spread geographically over the region, or simply working from home.

How will my team benefit?

Your colleagues will get a unique insight into this amazing charity and the opportunity to self-reflect and draw parallels from how Beddown operate with their own team and work environments by: exploring the world of homelessness, the knock-on effects and how easily it can happen to anyone; appreciating the important connection between sleep and quality of life; and using these insights to brainstorm practical ways to work better as a team.

How will Beddown benefit?

As we're in partnership with Beddown, which are part of the charity inCommunity Inc, they receive 50% of the net profit from each of their sessions, which translates to at least $500 plus GST for every session. So, in addition to creating ‘Welcome’ kits for their homeless guests in the session, your people are also making a financial difference to Beddown, helping them support people living rough and homeless.

About Beddown

Part of the inCommunity Inc charity group, Beddown works with other charitable organisations that can provide complementary services such as laundry & showers, food & beverages, health & wellbeing, clothing etc. They look at ways to activate empty, dormant, underutilised spaces which can become a temporary sanctuary for those experiencing homelessness that help to start to rebuild lives.
