What’s the session’s main focus?

Securing a better future for African girls.

How is it delivered?

• Either Face-to-face over 3 hours - at your office, or any venue of your choosing such as a conference venue or a hotel.
• Or online over 2 hours - whether people are spread geographically over the region, or simply working from home.

How will my team benefit?

Your colleagues will get a unique insight into this amazing charity and the opportunity to self-reflect and draw parallels from how Te-Kworo Foundation operate with their own team and work environments by: understanding the harsh realities facing young women and their children in Northern Uganda; appreciating the differences between their world and ours; seeing first-hand the transformational power that education and support can make in the lives of the young women they support and using these insights to brainstorm practical ways to work better as a team.

How will Te-Kworo Foundation benefit?

As we're in partnership with Te-Kworo Foundation, they receive 50% of the net profit from every session, which translates to at least $500 plus GST for every session. So, by joining in, your people are making a financial difference to the charity and securing a future for African girls.

About Te-Kworo Foundation

Young girls in Northern Uganda don’t enjoy the same rights and freedom as their counterparts in Australia due to a patriarchal society of arranged marriages and culture of tolerating abuse. This is what the Te-Kworo Foundation has been working hard to change since 2002 in partnership with local communities by helping rehabilitate these young girls and provide them with the support, education and training to give them trade skills and the ability to become self-sufficient.
